Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about legal requirements, casino entry, ID policies, dress codes, and booking official hotel stays in Poland.

Under the Polish Gambling Act (Ustawa o grach hazardowych), the legal age to enter any licensed land-based casino in Poland is strictly 18 years of age. No minors are permitted on the gaming floor under any circumstances.

Every visitor must present a valid physical passport or official national identity card upon arrival. Polish law requires reception staff to log guest identity into a secure entry register. Digital copies, driving licenses, or student cards are not accepted by law.

Yes, 100%. Fuse Labs Digital maintains a strict zero-fiction policy. Every reviewed hotel (e.g. Warsaw Presidential Hotel, Sofitel Grand Sopot, Hilton Warsaw City, Radisson Blu Krakow, HP Park Plaza Wrocław) is an operating, real-world business holding valid commercial concessions and listed on official booking engines.

No. Fuse Labs Digital is an independent informational review platform. When you click "Check Availability" or "Book Now", you are directed to verified official hotel websites or trusted third-party booking engines (such as Booking.com). We do not collect payments or process hotel bookings directly.

The standard dress code across 4-star and 5-star hotel casinos in Poland is Smart Casual. Neat jeans, collared shirts, blazers, and dresses are recommended. Sportswear, beach shorts, sleeveless tops, and flip-flops are restricted during evening hours.

Gaming chips and electronic terminal credits are bought and settled in Polish Złoty (PLN). Most casino reception desks feature currency exchange counters (accepting EUR, USD, GBP, CHF) and major credit/debit card terminals.

Land-based casinos are regulated by the Polish Ministry of Finance (Ministerstwo Finansów). Concessions are issued for 6-year terms and are strictly audited for game fairness, financial compliance, and player protection.

Booking

Booking, Rates & Reservations

No. We hold no allocation with any hotel and issue no confirmations. The form on our contact page is a booking request / reservation inquiry addressed to our editorial desk: we reply with the property's official reservation channel and what to confirm before you commit. A reservation exists only when the hotel or its authorised platform sends you a confirmation directly.

Because any figure we published would be wrong within hours. Rates at these properties move with the congress calendar in Warsaw, the festival calendar in Kraków, and the Baltic season in Sopot, and they differ by room category, cancellation terms, and whether breakfast is included. Only the operator or the booking platform can quote a live rate with taxes attached.

Sometimes. A reservation platform may pay a referral commission when a reader completes a booking. That commission comes from the platform, never from the hotel whose page you read, and it does not vary between the properties we cover — so it cannot buy a position, a score, or the removal of a criticism. Where the only route to a room is the hotel's own engine, we link there instead, and that link earns nothing.

It depends on the week, and we will not pretend otherwise. Direct booking usually gives better loyalty accrual, easier room-category requests, and a simpler path if you need to change dates; platforms sometimes carry lower non-refundable rates. Check both, and compare the cancellation window rather than only the headline number.

We can tell you what each property publishes — step-free access, lift dimensions, accessible room counts, and whether the casino floor is reachable without stairs — and we say plainly where a property publishes nothing. Binding arrangements must be confirmed with the hotel directly, since only the operator can guarantee a specific accessible room on a specific date.

On the floor

Casino Entry, Rules & Etiquette

No. A licensed Polish casino is a separate regulated premises even when it occupies a floor of your hotel. You must be 18 or over and register at the casino reception with a passport or national ID card, whether or not you are a guest upstairs. Some venues charge an entry fee or issue a membership card; both are set by the operator.

Effectively never. Every licensed venue in Poland prohibits photography and filming on the gaming floor, for the privacy of other players and for security reasons. Phones are generally tolerated in circulation areas but not at the tables. Ask at reception rather than assuming.

Smart casual is the working standard at the venues documented here: a collared shirt, trousers or a dress, and closed shoes will not be questioned at any of them. Sportswear, beachwear, flip-flops, and visible branding of sports clubs are the usual refusals. Sopot in high summer is the one place where the gap between what the promenade wears and what the gaming floor expects catches visitors out.

The złoty is the currency of play. Cash exchange is handled at the venue cage, card acceptance for chip purchase varies by operator and is not something we publish, and cashing out is done at the same cage against the identity you registered on entry. We do not publish stake levels or table limits, because those change without notice.

Licensed operators are required to accept a self-exclusion request and to maintain the register of excluded persons that supports it. In practice that means you can ask reception to bar your own entry, and the bar is honoured. The national problem-gambling helpline is 801 889 880, and Anonimowi Hazardziści runs meetings in every city covered on this site.

This Website, Our Method & Your Data

They are our own. A figure shown as “★ x.x / 10” is a Fuse Labs editorial score: the equal-weighted mean of seven pillars, each marked out of ten by our reviewer. It is not a guest-review average and is not taken from Booking.com, Google, TripAdvisor, or any classification body. The full scale, including what we refuse to score, is published on our How We Review page.

Because we cannot verify them and they change constantly. Table counts, machine inventories, tournament schedules, loyalty tiers, and jackpot figures are rarely published authoritatively by Polish operators, and they are exactly the claims a reader would be most harmed by trusting. We document the venue, its licence, its hours, and its entry rules instead.

No. Imagery on this site is licensed stock and editorial photography chosen to illustrate the city, the category, or the interior style under discussion. It is not an inventory of a specific room or salon, and the room you book may differ in layout and outlook. For the definitive current appearance of a room category, use the property's own media library.
